Electronics chain Power is expanding its smartphone lineup with the new Cepter Nivo X3 model, which falls under the 300-euro price range. The new product continues the company’s strategy of bringing devices equipped with its own brand to the market, aiming to offer competitive features in a more affordable price segment.
The background is based on a familiar model where the device is based on a solution from a well-known manufacturer. In the case of the Nivo X3, it is a model based on a device manufactured by ZTE, which has been brought to market under the Cepter brand.
Battery and charging at the heart of it all

One of the key features is a large 6050 mAh battery, which aims to provide long battery life with a single charge. The importance of high capacity is particularly evident in mobile gaming and streaming applications where energy consumption increases rapidly.
The charging solution utilizes 35 watts of power, which enables relatively fast charging in a device of this price range. There is also an bypass charging technology designed to reduce the device's heating in situations where the phone is actively being used during charging.
Large display with high refresh rate

The display measures 6.75 inches and is based on IPS technology. The resolution is set at 1940 x 900 pixels, and the refresh rate reaches up to 120 Hz. A higher refresh rate improves the fluidity of the interface and the gaming experience, in particular.
Special attention has been paid to touch recognition. The device uses the so-called Magic Touch 3.0 solution, which allows the touchscreen to react even in wet or dirty conditions. This can be a useful feature, for example, when used outdoors.
Cameras and performance

On the camera side, there is a 50-megapixel main camera complemented by an additional 2-megapixel camera. On the front there is a 16-megapixel camera for video calls and taking selfies.
The performance is provided by the Unisoc T9300 system chip, which is paired with 8 gigabytes of memory. There is 128 gigabytes of storage space, and it can be expanded with a microSD card up to a terabyte size.
Structure, connections and equipment

The device is made of plastic and weighs 210 grams. It has an IP64 rating for protection, which means it is dust and splash-proof. However, it does not have full impact resistance.

The cooling is handled by a separate solution based on VC technology, which aims to manage heat in heavier usage. In terms of connectivity, 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC for near-field payments are included. The traditional headphone port has also been retained, which is a feature that is now becoming increasingly rare.
Artificial intelligence button and software

The operating system is Android 16. A special feature of the device is a button dedicated to artificial intelligence functions, through which various smart functions can be quickly accessed, such as features related to communication, reminders, and content management.
Price and availability
The Cepter Nivo X3 is priced in Finland at 279 euros and will be available through Power's sales channels. The new product aims to compete primarily in the budget 5G phone segment, which often emphasizes battery life, a large screen, and sufficient basic performance.
