MR Hifi is organizing the Good Sound Map Festival in April at the Rastila manor house in Helsinki. The event is now being held for the fourth time.
There is a wide variety of familiar products from various manufacturers. The British PMC, which relies on the transmission line, can be heard with the flagship model Fenestria, driven by equipment from Bryston. Harbeth, which is also part of the British BBC monitor heritage, is also present with its 30.2 model.
Domestic loudspeakers are represented by the Gradient 1.4, which saw the light of day on Finland’s centenary day. The debut of the MR HiFi range from its neighbor the west comes from Marten. A little further south from Denmark, the Dynaudio Contour series and the Audiovector QR5 floor speaker are present. As an Italian amplifier, there is the new Rosso Fiorentino fixture. On the headphone side, a wide range of Stax electrostatic speakers is on display.
Naimi's Uniti models and Melco's music banks offer digital music streaming.
On the vinyl side, the Rega Planar 8 is on display; Rega also offers confirmation for this model. The rest of the amplifier lineup is provided by, among others, the Marantz Reference series at the high-end level, which is the work of Ken Ishiwatari, as well as the recently added MR Hi-Fi models from Italy, which also produces audio components. The heat in the tubes is provided by British company Ear Yoshino. There is also a possible new DAC5 converter from the manufacturer.
Other accompanying products are on display, including TK Cable’s cables and Konto’s acoustics. Representatives of the importers are also present. Cafe Monami is operating at the venue, where you can get refreshments. The event’s FB pages can be found here from here.
