The FreeBuds 5i headphones unveiled by Huawei in June are now arriving on the international market. Until now, they have only been available in the company’s home market of China.
These are wireless noise-canceling headphones. Compared to the FreeBuds 4i, the FreeBuds 5i has a better ten-hour battery life on a single charge. You can get more power from the charging case, for a total of 28 hours. The battery capacity has been increased to 410 milliamps. Despite all this, the headphones have been reduced in weight by 18 percent.
According to GSMArena The sound quality is also better. There’s also a noise cancellation function that’s promised to reduce noise by as much as 42 decibels. That’s more than the FreeBuds Pro headphones and almost doubles the noise cancellation offered by the FreeBuds 4i. Huawei has implemented the noise cancellation function using artificial intelligence that learns where the speech comes from and isolates it from the ambient noise.
Availability and price in Finland are not known at this time, but the price varies worldwide at around 100 euros.
