The Austrian Pro-Ject returns to its roots with the new E1.2 turntable, designed specifically for beginners in vinyl collecting. The new model combines simple usability, high-quality components, and audio-filic performance at a competitive price.

Returning to the heart of the manual call
The Pro-Ject story began in 1991 with the idea of bringing a high-quality yet affordable manual turntable to the market. Now, almost 35 years later, the manufacturer is returning to its original philosophy with the E1.2. The player is completely manual, manufactured in Europe, and designed to last for decades – even in terms of spare parts availability, which is guaranteed for 25 years.
A structure that serves sound
Careful selection of high-quality components has been made for the E1.2. The 730 gram aluminum pickup pickup is equipped with a TPE damping ring that reduces engine-induced vibrations and improves the stability of the sound. The sound arm, on the other hand, utilizes aluminum precision bearings and a hardened, carbon-fiber reinforced needle bar that ensures precise needle tracking and smooth movement.

Easy and long-lasting use
The record player is ready to use straight out of the box – thanks to the Plug & Play solution, no adjustments are required. Switching between 33 and 45 RPM is done with just one press of a button. A high-quality OFC copper cable with gold-plated RCA connectors is included.

The E1.2 utilizes Pro-Jet’s own Pick it MM E soundboard, which has been developed specifically for players at this level. The instrument’s body is made of sturdy composite material with no hollow spaces – this minimizes resonance and supports pure sound reproduction.
To the market in July
The Pro-Ject E1.2 will arrive at retailers in July 2025 and its recommended retail price is 329 euros. The model is aimed at those who want to step into the world of analog sound in a high-quality way without unnecessary compromises.
