The German luxury television and audio equipment manufacturer Loewe has acquired a new owner. It has been acquired by the international investment company Skytec.
Loewe, which suspended its operations last July, plans to have most of its product range back in production by April. At the IFA 2020 event in Berlin this autumn, it is intended to present new televisions and a new range of audio equipment. Design will take place as usual in Kronach, Germany.
According to Skytec CEO Vladislav Khabliev, the cooperation between the sub-suppliers and technology partners should continue as before. These include LG Display, which supplies OLED panels, and Hisense, a Chinese television manufacturer interested in acquiring Loewen.
