Pro-Ject's Elvis turntable celebrates Elvis' 90th birthday – a limited edition special model arrives on the market

The limited Elvis Turntable special edition has been presented by Pro-Ject Audio Systems in honor of Elvis’ 90th birthday. The elegant, CNC-machined MDF chassis is illuminated with a dimmable LED Elvis logo, and the larger chassis has been designed to provide more stability. The sound base consists of a 10 mm thick and 1.7 kg heavy glass platter combined with a felt mat, aimed at minimizing the resonance of the chassis. Shock-absorbing feet are used under the player. The specifications are based on the manufacturer’s press release.
9-inch aluminum arm and pre-installed speaker bracket
The instrument uses a 9-inch aluminum voice coil from the same part, with a small-diameter bearing. The integrated voice coil mounting eliminates the additional resonance caused by separate headshells. The spring-based anti-skating is adjustable, and the unit is supplied with a pre-set Sumiko Rainier MM voice coil (elliptic diamond wire). An acrylic dust cover is included with adjustable mounting brackets, a felt mat, a single adapter, a power supply, and a semi-symmetrical, low-capacitance RCA phonowire designed by the manufacturer, equipped with metal connectors.
