Electronics chain Power is expanding its smartphone range with the new Cepter Nivo X3 model, which is priced under 300 euros. The new model continues the company's strategy of launching its own branded devices, which aim to offer competitive features in a more affordable price segment.
The background utilizes a familiar model, where the device is based on a solution from a well-known manufacturer. In the case of the Nivo X3, it is a model based on a device manufactured by ZTE, which has been launched on the market under the Cepter brand.
Battery and charging at the center

One of the key features is a large 6050 mAh battery, which aims to provide long battery life on a single charge. The importance of large capacity is especially emphasized in mobile gaming and streaming, where energy consumption increases rapidly.
The charging solution utilizes 35 watts of power, which allows for relatively fast charging for a device in this price range. There is also bypass charging technology, which is intended to reduce heating of the device in situations where the phone is actively used while charging.
Large screen with high refresh rate

The screen is 6,75 inches in size and is based on IPS technology. The resolution is set at 1940 x 900 pixels, and the refresh rate reaches up to 120 Hz. The higher refresh rate improves the smoothness of the user interface and the gaming experience in particular.
Special attention has been paid to touch recognition. The device utilizes the so-called Magic Touch 3.0 solution, which allows the touchscreen to respond even in damp or dirty conditions. This can be a useful feature, for example, when used outdoors.
Cameras and performance

On the camera side, there is a 50-megapixel main camera, complemented by a 2-megapixel secondary camera. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel camera for video calls and taking selfies.
The performance is provided by Unisoc's T9300 system-on-chip, which is accompanied by 8 gigabytes of RAM. Storage is 128 gigabytes, and can be expanded up to 1 terabyte with a microSD memory card.
Structure, connections and equipment

The device is made of plastic and weighs 210 grams. It has an IP64 rating, which means it is dust and splash resistant. However, it is not fully shockproof.

Cooling is handled by a separate VC-based solution, which aims to manage heat during heavy use. Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC for contactless payments. The traditional headphone jack has also been retained, which is a rarer feature these days.
Artificial intelligence button and software

The operating system is Android 16. The device features a separate button for artificial intelligence functions, which can be used to quickly open various smart functions, such as features related to communication, reminders, and content management.
Price and availability
The Cepter Nivo X3 is priced at 279 euros in Finland and will be available through Power's sales channels. The new product will compete in the affordable 5G phone segment, where battery life, a large display and sufficient basic performance are often emphasized.
