HMD Global, behind the Nokia phones, has announced a total of 13 new headphones. The new Nokia headphones are divided into five product lines.
At the top of the lineup is the Clarity, which is described as Nokia's most advanced in-ear headphones to date. The lineup focuses on sound quality. The headphones are promised to have low latency, making them suitable for gaming and watching videos. Two models will be available in September: Clarity Earbuds and Clarity Earbuds Pro. The Pro version includes active noise cancellation with dual microphones and Qualcomm cVc technology. Both have a 10mm dynamic driver and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity.
The Comfort product series, as the name suggests, focuses on comfort. At the end of August, the Comfort Earbuds and Comfort Earbuds+ will be available; in September, the Comfort Earbuds Pro will follow. All of them feature a so-called comfort ring that softens in the ear. The battery life is promised to be nine hours, and the headphones are waterproof. The Earbuds+ model also features wireless charging. The Pro model also has ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) and ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) functions and low latency for video and gaming.
The Micro product line, on the other hand, focuses on more compact wireless headphones. However, the battery life is promised to be 9 hours with a single charge and an additional 18 hours with the slim charging case. The Micro Earbuds and Micro Earbuds Pro will be available in September, the latter of which also features noise cancellation with two microphones.
The Go product series is aimed at those looking for affordable wireless headphones. The Go Earbuds+ model will be launched at the end of August, featuring a 13mm driver, IPX4 protection, and a battery life of up to 26 hours.
The Solo Bud product series consists of mono-headsets for, for example, forklifts and other work vehicles. The series includes four models, two of which are the Clarity Solo Bud models. Solo Bud and the IPX4-rated Solo Bud+ will be available at the end of August, while the Clarity Solo Bud offers a better listening experience. The Clarity Solo Bud, which also features noise cancellation and IPX4-rated splash resistance, will be available immediately.
And that's not all. In August, wired and a few euros-priced Wired Buds headphones will be available.
