Klipsch has unveiled its first-ever fully wireless noise-canceling headphones. The T5 II True Wireless ANC headphones are based on the T5 II headphones the company released last year.
Both earbuds feature two microphones for the noise-canceling function. If desired, you can also adjust the earbuds to let in more ambient sound. With the Klipsch Connect app, you can adjust the level of ambient sound, update the headphones, adjust the equalizer, and check the battery status.
The artificial intelligence developed by Bragi introduces advanced gesture capabilities. You can answer calls by nodding and reject them by shaking your head. Dirac HD Sound algorithms, in turn, correct the headphones’ frequency response.
The battery life is slightly shorter than that of the base T5 II model. With the noise-canceling feature turned on, the battery should last five hours, and without it, seven hours. The charging case provides an additional 15 or 21 hours of battery life, respectively.
The T5 II True Wireless ANC earbuds will hit stores in the first markets in September. There is no information yet on pricing or availability in Finland. However, the price will be slightly higher than that of Apple’s AirPods Pro. Color options include copper, silver, and red metal (black).
A more expensive special edition, the McLaren Edition, will also be available, featuring a carbon-fiber finish combined with the team’s signature orange color. It comes with a wireless charging pad that Klipsch promises will charge twice as fast as its competitors.
