Kick in the bass frequencies
The Reckhorn A-800 is a power amplifier designed specifically for subwoofers, and despite its compact size it is powerful enough to handle even the most demanding applications. It is suitable for any passive subwoofer, but thanks to its own low-pass filter it is especially suitable as a custom one. The filter adjustment range extends from 35 Hz to four hundred Hz (24 dB). The input sensitivity is also adjustable between 0.2 and two volts. The device also has a ground connection switch.
The output is sufficient for most needs, as with a load of four ohms continuous output power is released of 500 watts and with a load of two ohms it is up to 800 watts. The instantaneous power output of the device is 580 watts with a load of four ohms and up to one kilowatt with a load of two ohms. The transformer is a robust toroidal transformer. The frequency response is stated as 10–400Hz (-1 dB) and the attenuation factor is 250 (4 ohms). The device has its own T6A/250V fuse.
