Harry Potter fan's new phone is here? Only 100 units of the Realme 16 Pro are available in Finland

For Harry Potter fans, there is now a slightly more special smartphone available. Realme has brought the Realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition to the market in Finland, whose design, interface, and accessories are built around Hogwarts. Only 100 units of the phone will be available in Finland, and the price is 699 euros.

The special edition model, developed in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery, stands out from the regular Realme 16 Pro primarily in its design. The phone’s brown-colored rear panel features the emblem of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and a diamond-shaped pattern inspired by the villainous villain from the Harry Potter series. The colors of the emblem become visible in bright sunlight or UV light. Additionally, Harry Potter-inspired details have been added to the metallic camera area and the phone’s sides, such as the engraving “Welcome to Hogwarts”.

The sales package is also part of the whole package: The stunning portfolio includes, among other things, the approval letter from Tylypaho, bookmarks, postcards, collector's items related to cigar butts, and a protective sleeve that matches the theme.

Under the shell, Realme 16 Pro

Technically, the Harry Potter Edition is based on the Realme 16 Pro 5G. The phone features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1272 × 2772 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. The system chipset is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max 5G.

At the back is a 200-megapixel main camera equipped with an optical image stabilization system, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The front camera has a resolution of 50 megapixels. The battery has a capacity of 6,500 mAh and a charging power of 45 watts. The phone also supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and eSIM.

The Harry Potter Edition also comes with a themed charger.
In Finland, buyers also receive the Realme Buds T500 Pro Harry Potter Edition headphones and a 12-month HBO Standard subscription. According to Realme’s announcement, the combined value of the benefits is 292.88 euros. The headphones are not yet being sold separately in Finland, at least not for now.

The Realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition went on sale in Finland on September 21st.

DNA is responsible for the sales exclusively. 20 of the hundred phones have been reserved for the DNA store at Mall of Tripla in Helsinki, and the rest for the DNA online store. The recommended price is 699 euros.

Because of the small sales volume and the far-reaching Harry Potter theme, it is at least as much of a collector's item as a new Android phone.
