The Chinese-based VEVOR is known for its selection of tools, storage furniture, and various home utility products sold in online stores, but in recent years the company has expanded its offerings to include furniture and products designed for home use. The company’s latest electric loveseat recliner seems to be aimed specifically at home theater and media use, where comfort features are sought to extend beyond the comfort of ordinary sofas without the price tag of the most expensive premium solutions. Manufacturer's European online store The price of the model is currently listed at 1,620.90 euros.
According to the manufacturer, this is a two-seat electric recliner sofa with its own motorized tilt mechanism for both users. The backrest and footrest are adjusted using buttons located on the armrests, and the structure allows for a clear rear-facing viewing position, in addition to the standard sitting position, for example for watching movies or series.
For home theater use, the most visible features of the model are the center console with its cup holders, USB charging ports, and side pockets for the remote controls and other small items. Structurally, the solution resembles many separate cinema seats, but the implementation is closer to traditional sofas than to actual theater seats.
The VEVOR says the sofa also includes heating and massage functions. The massage is based on vibration elements that can be adjusted to different intensities and programs. The heating is directed to the lower back area. According to the manufacturer, the features are designed to increase comfort during long viewing sessions, even though it is not a genuine massage device.
The structure uses a metal frame and padded upholstery, with a fabric surface that is said to resemble suede leather. In appearance, the sofa follows the rather typical American-style recliner line: large armrests, thick padding, and a wide seat structure emphasize comfort more than minimalist design.
Due to its size, the loveseat model may suit users for whom a full-size three-seat recliner sofa would be an overly dominant solution. However, the fully reclining structure still requires quite a bit of floor space, which is worth considering especially in smaller living rooms or separate media rooms.
In terms of price, VEVOR’s solution clearly falls into the more affordable end of the spectrum compared to many well-known home theater furniture brands. Indeed, price seems to be the model’s key competitive advantage: the electronic recliner mechanism, heating, massage, and charging ports are all found in the same package. At the same time, there are still no extensive user experiences regarding long-term durability or the lifespan of the mechanisms, as the model appears to be quite new on the market.
