TCL, one of the world's largest manufacturers of consumer electronics and televisions, is expanding its range to even larger sizes and also with numerous new models using the MiniLED technology. And above all, at an affordable price.

The stunning C84 MiniLed range, up to 85 inches

The top of the range is the C84 series (also known as C845). The C84 series uses 4K QLED MiniLED panels with refresh rates up to 144 Hz and Full Array Local Dimming (FALD) technology, also supporting HDR10+, Dolby Vision and Dolby Vision IQ. The maximum brightness of the display is up to 2000 nits. The new AiPQ Processor 3.0 is said to further improve image quality.

The TCL C84 lineup is aimed at both moviegoers and especially gamers. The Game Master Pro 2.0, VRR and FreeSync Premium Pro, ALLM technology and the 240 Hz gaming accelerator are promised to deliver the best possible gaming experience and adjustability. The 2.1 channel ONKYO audio system is also promised to provide a stunning audio experience.

Sizes in the collection: 55-, 65-, 75- and 85-inch. Prices: about 1500 – 2800 euros.

”The ”game-optimized” C74 lineup also comes in a 98-inch size

The C74 models use 144Hz 4K QLED panels and Full Array Local Dimming (FALD) technology with HDR brightness of up to 1000 nits. The AiPQ 3.0 processor, 4K HDR Pro 1000, and 144Hz Motion Clarity Pro technologies are promised to deliver vibrant colors and smooth motion.
TCL's Game Master Pro 2.0 offers various tools to enhance the gaming experience, such as Shadow Enhancement, VRR and ALLM, as well as an 240 Hz gaming accelerator to increase the screen refresh rate. The device features four HDMI 2.1 ports, HDMI eARC and USB 2.0. Additionally, the television has two built-in 15W speakers that support Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X.

Sizes in the collection: 55-, 65-, 75-, 86- and 98-inch. Prices: 1000-2500 euros and the price for the 98-inch model is about 4900 euros.

Affordable C64 lineup: Under 85 inches for less than 2000 euros

The native refresh rate of the 4k QLED TVs in the C64 lineup is 60 Hz, and Motion Clarity technology ensures a smoother picture according to the manufacturer. Quantum Dot technology and HDR PRO produce bright colors, and the display brightness is up to 450 nits. The device supports Dolby Vision and DTS Virtual:X in addition to HDR10+.

For gaming, the C64 models have Game Master 2.0, AMD FreeSync, and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM). TCL’s 120 Hz DLG (Dual Line Gate) technology uses algorithms to optimize refresh rate and reduce latency. However, it is worth noting that this limits the resolution to 1080p.

The range offers a wide selection of sizes, ranging from 43 inches to 85 inches. Prices: 400-2000 euros

All models have Google TV, which provides access to a variety of apps and streaming services such as Disney+, Netflix, and Yle Arena. You can also stream content from your mobile phone to the TV using Chromecast. You can also control the TV using voice commands with the Google Assistant.
