The Osmo Pocket 4 is said to charge from zero to 80 percent in 18 minutes. The maximum recording time is stated to be 240 minutes, making the camera usable for longer shooting sessions. In practice, fast charging and long operating time can be important features, especially when traveling or at events where charging options are not always easily available.

On the audio side, the camera has a built-in microphone that promises to record speech clearly while retaining ambient sounds. In addition, the DJI Mic collection is supported, which expands its use to include interviews, vlogging, and other voice-focused content production.
