Samsung declares that he has developed “The “unbreakable” OLED display passed the drop tests conducted by U.S. authorities without any problems. During the test, the display was dropped 26 times from an altitude of 1.2 meters and also from a height of 1.8 meters. Neither drop caused any functional problems or left any marks. It was also tested in particularly high and low temperatures.
The display is also quite flexible and lightweight. According to the manufacturer, the display will be seen not only in phones but also in other electronic devices such as cars, portable military devices, gaming consoles, and tablets.
There is still no certainty as to where the unbreakable display on the phone will be first seen. Samsung's flagship phone, the Note 9, is set to be released in two weeks. The company also manufactures displays for other manufacturers, such as Apple, whose latest iPhone will be unveiled in about a month.
