LG has unveiled three new soundbars, the SL10YG, SL9YG and SL8YG. They have been made in collaboration with Meridian Audio. They also feature DTS:X and Dolby Atmos, as well as Google Assistant voice control.
Everyone can therefore be controlled with voice commands. Supported features include adjusting the volume, identifying songs, and playing playlists. Soundbars can also control compatible smart home devices.
Soundbars are minimalist in style. The SL9 soundbar also features a gyroscope that is said to measure the device’s position on the wall or tabletop and adjust the sound accordingly. Wireless rear speakers can be connected to the soundbars.
As of now, there is no information about availability or prices. The new products will be showcased at the CES 2019 trade show in January.
