30.3.2023 – Boston Group is bringing to market the premium Insta360 Flow camera stabilizer, which makes shooting easy thanks to its one-frame structure selfie stick, three-axis gimbal, and AI tracking.

More and more people are capturing situations with smartphones from short videos to selfies and landscape shots. Thanks to their versatile shooting features, taking photos on a phone has become almost synonymous with photography. Despite this, even the best smartphones do not provide the distance required to capture good selfies. Often, this additional dimension is also needed for special angles or when you want to capture something that is just out of reach.

It’s exactly these kinds of situations that Insta360 Flow comes to the rescue with; a smartphone stabilizer equipped with a single-frame structure selfie stick, a three-axis gimbal and a three-axis gimbal. Additionally, the stabilizer features AI-driven object tracking and advanced shooting and editing features, making it easier to capture high-quality photos and videos.

Thanks to its quick setup, Insta360 Flow is suitable for almost everyone, from babies to grandparents. The stabilizer is compatible with a wide range of smartphones. Whether it’s for travel photos, capturing family memories, or special needs for content creators, the stabilizer is a handy and convenient tool.

Using the Insta360 Flow camera stabilizer couldn’t be easier. Once it’s ready to use with your phone, no special opening or even pressing the power button is required. Filming is instantaneous and the operation doesn’t require special training. When the phone isn’t needed for filming, the lightweight stabilizer (391 g) folds up easily and fits into a bag to wait for the next shooting moment.

The three-axis gimbal keeps the camera stable at all times, and filming with it produces professional-level results. Thanks to the advanced AI-based Deep Track 3.0 tracking system, the subject remains accurately in the frame, ensuring that even the motion of a moving object remains steady and not blurred or unclear. The function is easily activated by pressing the shutter button or by framing the subject with your finger on the phone’s screen. This allows the Insta360 app to recognize a moving subject, such as a person’s head or a pet.

Tracking action can also produce stunning slow-motion videos, bringing the details of the movement to life. Using the smartphone’s focus feature, impressive zoom shots can also be taken. Deep Track 3.0 is able to recognize the subject in the crowd and identify it from different angles. Even temporary disappearance from the frame behind an obstacle does not interfere with tracking action.

The camera stabilizer has versatile control functions that can easily be selected to suit the desired shooting mode. In addition to the beginner-friendly automatic mode, you can choose between the standard monitoring mode, the wider and more spacious PF monitoring mode, and the eye-tracking-style FPV mode.

Thanks to the Y-shaped selfie stick, the stabilizer can add more dimension to both self-portraits and shots taken from a higher angle than what a single handgrip would suffice. At the same time, the additional extension of the 21.5-centimeter arm allows for a wide range of special camera angles, such as shooting from the bottom. The stabilizer’s body also opens up for easy use as a tripod, allowing for effortless video or photo shooting from a tabletop, for example. When combined with, for example, timelapse photography or subject tracking, high-quality videos can be created almost automatically.

With the easy-to-use circular button, all the key functions of the camera stabilizer are always within reach. These include focusing, changing shooting modes, and the shutter button. Additionally, by double-tapping the control button, the gimbal can be switched from horizontal shooting to vertical shooting, making effortless vertical shooting even easier.

Post-processing, editing, and cutting of photos and videos are easy with the Insta360 app. Its AI-assisted interface makes it easy to customize photos and videos to your liking.

The magnetic-mount stabilizer stays firmly attached even when moving. With a single charge, the 2,900 mAh battery in the stabilizer lasts for up to 16 hours of use. An external microphone can easily be attached to the universal microphone clip.

The basic version of the Insta360 Flow camera stabilizer includes a mounting magnet, a wrist protection sleeve, a carrying pouch, and a USB-A/C cable. The Insta360 Flow Creator Kit also includes a small-sized camera light, USB-C/Lightning and USB-C/C charging cables, and a larger storage pouch.

Price and availability
Insta360 Flow and Insta360 Flow Creator Kit will be available for sale in April at consumer prices of 179 and 239 euros. Prices include VAT.
