Bose has unveiled the small Smart Soundbar 600 audio bar. It supports Dolby Atmos mode audio with five speaker elements. Two of them are located at the top, while the other two are on the sides and two on the front. QuietPort technology, according to the manufacturer, helps to provide deep and distortion-free bass reproduction at all volume levels.
The device features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Spotify Connect, AirPlay 2 and a built-in Chromecast for streaming. The physical connections include an optical input and an HDMI port with eARC support. Support is available for Bose TrueSpace technology, which transforms 5.1-channel and stereo content into Atmos-style audio. The device can also be connected to a Bose multiroom system, and you can connect compatible Bose headphones, a subwoofer and rear speakers to it.
The height of the soundbar is only about five inches, the depth is about ten inches, and the width is just under 70 centimeters. It therefore fits more easily under the television. The soundbar has built-in support for Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice control.
The price of the Bose Smart Soundbar 600 is 549.95 euros. It is available for pre-order on Bose's website, and deliveries will begin on October 24. The device is black in color.
