Trusted Reviews has been evaluated Beyerdynamic's Aventho Wireless headphones. They are on-ear wireless headphones. The Aventho costs a little more than the average on-ear headphones, at 449 euros, but according to the reviews, the sound quality is comparable. The color options are black and brown.
Beyerdynamic is usually not known for its flashy design, but the Aventho is an exception. Comfort is also praised in the review, and the headphones can be worn for several hours at a time. The headphones are not foldable, but the earcups can be rotated 90 degrees for transport. A carry bag, audio cable, and USB-C charging cable are included. The battery is promised to last for over 30 hours. However, the headphones are equipped with aptX and aptX HD codecs.
There is also no active noise cancellation, but according to the assessment, the passive attenuation is sufficiently effective. Control is done using the power button and the tap functions. They work well and quite smoothly.
Instead, the noise cancellation comes from the software. The application does not agree to update without updating the device software. On the other hand, it can only be done on a Windows computer. The application is more meaningful because it allows, for example, compensating for age-related hearing loss. However, the tester was unable to get it to work after trying for hours and even after the update. Another minor downside is the occasional noise during wireless playback.
According to the test, the sound is excellent, according to the tester the best in the category of wireless on-ear headphones he has heard. The low bass is reproduced surprisingly well, the mid-range is detailed and the treble is clear. The overall sound image is also wide. Overall, the sound is still neutral.
Overall, the headphones are excellent, unless you take into account software issues. Those are usually also fixable.
