In addition to the iPads announced earlier this week, Apple has also introduced new iMac computers. The update applies to the 4k and 5k models, but the top-of-the-line iMac Pro did not receive the update this time. This time, the updates are also focused solely on the hardware side. The appearance remains unchanged.
The smaller models with 21.5-inch screens, according to Apple’s promises, are up to 60 percent faster than the previous generation. They feature eighth-generation Core processors and AMD Radeon Pro Vega graphics cards. The graphics performance is said to be improved by 80 percent.
The 27-inch 5k iMacs achieved a maximum performance increase of up to 2.4 times. They now feature the latest ninth-generation Core processors. The larger model also features AMD Radeon Pro Vega graphics cards. Its graphics performance is said to have improved by 50 percent.
The basic models have a traditional hard drive, but some models have an SSD drive. The cheapest 21.5-inch iMac now costs 1,549 euros, and the 27-inch model costs 2,199 euros. The most powerful iMac Pro costs 6,239 euros.
