In September, we reported that the popular HBO Nordic streaming service will change to HBO Max on October 26. Finland is among the first European countries to join the service, alongside the other Nordic countries and Spain. At the same time, its collection will be expanded to include the productions of HBO, Warner Bros, DC Comics, and Cartoon Network.
It was already known that the current HBO Nordic subscriptions would automatically convert to HBO Max subscriptions, but no price information was available. Based on the increased content, one could have concluded that the price would have risen from the current 10.95 euros or at least remained the same. However, it is now known that the revamped service will be almost two euros cheaper, at 8.99 euros per month.
Current HBO Nordic subscribers also have access to a more affordable offer for a yearly subscription: 69.99 euros.
