Wilson's monitoring speakers saw the light of day – a compact option for desktop and home studio use
We told you about Wilson Audio's plans last time present the new TuneTot speakers, Based on the company’s legendary WATT monitor speakers. The plans were realized at the Munich High End Show.
The design of the TuneTo housing and elements has taken advantage of the technology of the Alexx and Sabrina speaker units. This is Wilson’s most affordable and compact speaker model, which should also be suitable for home studio use, for example for installation on a desk. This is helped by the damping pads, which allow the speaker’s angle to be adjusted according to the listening position. Under the speaker’s spikes is an ISOBase damping platform intended to reduce vibrations.
Both the speakers, the ISOBase platform and the shielding nets are available in several different color options. For those who don’t care about grilles, there is also the more minimalist TuneTot Ring, which hides the bass element’s mounting brackets. The price for the speakers has been announced at $9,800 for the pair.
