The new AVPlus 7/2019 has been published – the print edition includes, for example, a preview of the Hifimesses, budget smartphones under 350 euros, and 12-inch subwoofers

AVPlus issue 7/2019 has been published. We have returned to print format, and in addition to the usual digital issue, a digital print edition is also available, and for subscribers there is also a mobile-friendly html version.

The latest issue includes a comparison of five smartphones under 350 euros. We continued from the previous issue with the familiar sub-bar comparison, this time with a more powerful model of the 4 + 1 series. We also took a look at Waltter’s affordable EMS/TENS electrotherapy device and the accompanying DJI Osmo Pocket gimbal camera.

On the audio side, we created a preview of the Hifi Messe. We got to know the versatile Denon DRA-800H amplifier from Hifi Equipment. On the high-end side, we tested the beautiful Sonus Fabri Electa Amator III, which is a new version of the 1987 classic.

More sophisticated but practically oriented design is represented by the Genelec 1022A we have examined in the Hifi History series. We tried the Harman/Kardon Citation One smart speaker and learned about car noise reduction. We also followed the adventures of the Quad electrostatics speakers on the roof of a car in Tartu. Our application tips for this time also help with audio tuning and analysis.

We tested a 75-inch 4k smart TV from Sony's LCD lineup, and in our experiment we also used the Klipsch soundbar, which makes it easy to add more to the movie playback experience. Additionally, we will guide you through the world of HDMI technology and cables.

In addition to being printed, the magazine is also available online as a digital print edition and as a downloadable PDF version. The normal price for a digital issue is 5.90 euros.
