From Technics, with all-in-one streaming capabilities, radio, and a CD player
Technics has introduced a new SA-C600 receiver that offers streaming capabilities and a CD player in the same package. It complements the SB-C600 speakers that were introduced in September. The speakers are the only thing that the new product needs to be connected to in order to listen to music.
It includes built-in Chromecast, Spotify Connect, AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, and support for Tidal with MQA playback, as well as Deezer and Amazon Music. There is also an FM radio receiver and a DAB radio, although these are not available in Finland. The physical connections include MM-phonosis input for turntables and an optical input for, say, a television.
The amplifier offers 60 watts of power per channel. The fully digital amplifier part relies on JENO technology (Jitter Elimination and Noise-Shaping Optimization) developed by Technics. It also includes the manufacturer's own Space Tune equalizer.
The Technics SA-C600 will be available in the first markets in February. The colors available are black and silver.
