Nubia has presented an interesting Alpha smartwatch at the MWC 2019 show, which blurs the line between a watch and a smartphone. It features a long, foldable display with a resolution of 192 x 960 pixels. A version with eSIM functionality is also available, allowing it to make calls independently without the need for a SIM card.
The processor is the Snapdragon Wear 2100, designed for watches by Qualcomm. The RAM has a capacity of one gigabyte and the internal storage is eight gigabytes. The battery has a capacity of 500 milliamps. The watch can play back stored music and watch videos. There is also a camera with an eight-megapixel sensor. The watch has GPS tracking, a heart rate monitor, gyroscope, acceleration sensor and a compass.
In March, a version will arrive in Europe that does not have the eSIM feature. Its price is 450 euros. In the second half of the year, a version equipped with eSIM will also arrive, priced at 550 euros.
