Kokeilussa Pro-Ject Phono Box RS2 -levysoitinesivahvistin: Highendiä ja säätöjä rasioille
Pro-Jectin uudella Phono Box RS2 -riaa-levysoitinesivahvistimella ei homma jää säädöistä kiinni. Se ei tosin ole missään tapauksessa halpa, mutta ominaisuuksiin nähden sitä ei voi pitää mitenkään erityisen kalliina.

Jokainen vähänkään asioista perillä oleva tietää laadukkaan riaa-esivahvistimen merkityksen ja sen, kuinka tärkeä merkitys esivahvistimen ja äänirasian keskinäisellä sovituksella on. Suuri merkitys.
Pro-Ject Phono Box RS2 onkin oikea säätöjen Graalin malja. Mc-rasioiden sisääntuloimpedanssille laitteessa on portaaton säätö välillä 10–1 000 ohmia, ja mm-rasioiden sisääntulokapasitanssi voidaan valita peräti kahdeksasta vaihtoehdosta aina 50:stä 400:aan pikofaradiin 50 yksikön portain. Vahvistus on valittavissa 4+4 (mm/mc) vaihtoehdosta kolmen desibelin portain, jolloin tasot saadaan sovitettua rasiasta riippumatta muiden ohjelmalähteiden kanssa kohdalleen. Laitteessa on erikoisuutena myös hienojakoinen 0–2 desibelin kanavatasapainon säätö. Äänirasioissa voi hyvinkin olla desibelinkin eroja kanavatasapainossa. Tässä saa senkin säädettyä kohdalleen. Balanssisäädön puolestaan saa tarvittaessa ohitettua kytkimellä. Ja jos jollakulla on vanhoja Decca-korjauksella varustettuja levyjä, niin niillekin löytyy asetus. Luonnollisesti laitteessa on myös kytkettävä subsonic-suodatin. Etupaneeli on täynnä säätöjä – mitä muuta voisi enää toivoa?
Pro-Ject Phono Box RS2 on säätöjen puolesta todennäköisesti markkinoiden monipuolisin levysoitinesivahvistin. Eikö teekin mieli jo kokeilla?
