Withings has unveiled the new Scanwatch Horizon hybrid watch. The model, reminiscent of a diving watch, combines traditional analog watch features with smart functionality. The watch is also waterproof to 100 meters.
The smart watch features ECG measurement with atrial fibrillation detection, blood oxygen level monitoring, and sleep and activity tracking. The watch also detects sleep apnea by analyzing blood oxygen levels, heart rate, movement, and respiratory rate.
While moving, the watch can measure steps, calorie consumption, and altitude, and can also plot a route thanks to GPS tracking. The watch automatically recognizes over 30 sports modes, and results can be viewed from the Health Mate app.
The battery is promised to last up to 30 days and an additional 20 days in power-saving mode. The indicators are illuminated and the frame is rotatable. The display color can be selected between blue and green. The watch face is made of sapphire glass and is coated with titanium. It measures 43 millimeters in size. There are two bracelet options: stainless steel and elastomer.
The Withings ScanWatch Horizon is already available in Finland. Prices start at 499.95 euros. The watch comes with a five-year warranty.
