Sonos' new Roam 2 speaker
Sonos has announced an updated version of its popular portable speaker. The new Roam 2 is now available in the Sonics online store for 199 euros.
Roam 2 is an improved version of the original Roam speaker and offers many significant improvements. Its main features include smoother adjustment options and a more effortless and faster installation than before. Roam 2 produces surprisingly strong and detailed sound as well as deep bass that is usually only expected from larger speakers.
The speaker's design and interface have been improved, and it features separate power and Bluetooth buttons that make it easier to use. The Roam 2 can be set up immediately by connecting it to a phone via Bluetooth, so no separate WiFi connection is required. However, you can also connect the speaker to your home WiFi network and to other Sonos systems.
Automatic Trueplay tuning ensures the best possible listening experience in both Bluetooth and WiFi connections. Additionally, the speaker’s battery life is impressive at 10 hours on a single charge.
Roam 2 is dust and water resistant, with an IP67 rating, so it is well-suited for outdoor use. The new Roam 2 is available in five colors: Olive, Sunset, Wave, Black, and White.
