Audio version of the Debut III record player from Pro-Ject
Pro-Ject has unveiled an audiophile version of its Debut III turntable. The new Debut III S in the Audiophile range features an S-shaped audio arm, a Pick-IT 25 A audio cartridge tailored for Pro-Ject, and presumably, a less audible detail—a new logo on both the chassis and the turntable base—as well as new insulating aluminum cases.
The audio cartridge is mm-shaped. It was developed based on the Ortofon OM series, but its coils are silver. The old familiar instrument also has a belt-driven motor, a power supply, and a 12-inch record player. The instrument is already available in Finland. The price is 449 euros. The color options are glossy black and white.
