Monitor Audio launches new speaker series
Monitor Audio has announced a new speaker line. The concisely named Monitor Series includes two floorstanding speaker models, two floorstanding speakers, a center speaker, and a subwoofer.
The stand-mounted Monitor 50 features a 130 mm bass/midrange driver and a 25 mm c-cam dome tweeter. There is one pair of gold-plated speaker terminals. The price is 259 euros / pair. The Monitor 100 features a 160 mm bass/midrange driver and the same tweeter. The speaker terminals allow for dual wiring. The price is 329 euros / pair.
The floorstanding Monitor 200 is equipped with two 130 mm separately enclosed bass/midrange drivers and a 25 mm tweeter familiar from floorstanding speakers. The price is 595 euros / pair. The Monitor 300 has three 160 mm drivers, two of which handle bass and two midrange. The tweeter driver is the same. The price is 785 euros / pair.
The Monitor C150 is a mid-range speaker with two 130 mm drivers and the same familiar tweeter. The price is 185 euros.
The Monitor MRW-10 subwoofer has a 250 mm driver, and the frequency response is promised to dip down to 30 Hz. A 100-watt class D amplifier provides amplification. The price is 495 euros.
The color options are black, white and walnut.
