Jabra has unveiled two premium full-wireless earbuds in its Elite series at the IFA trade show in Berlin. The most durable earbuds on the market, the Jabra Elite 8 Activet and the Elite 10 headphones, which are Jabra's most advanced earbuds for work and leisure to date, offer clear sound calls, all-day comfort, and a more immersive Dolby Atmos sound experience thanks to Dolby Head Tracking.
Elite 8 Active: The world's most durable earphone
The Elite 8 Active headphones are the latest addition to Jabra’s Active product line for active users, setting a new standard for durability and comfort in wireless earbuds. Created not only for running and other sports, the Elite 8 Active is designed to withstand whatever the user wants to do. The headphones have passed the U.S. Department of Defense’s 810H durability test, which tests devices against moisture, high temperatures, rain, and high air pressure.
Despite its durability, the Elite 8 Active headphones have not compromised on appearance or sound quality. Training sessions run even better thanks to the incredible sound quality, which is thanks to Dolby Audio. It enables a natural and clear sound environment, and also for even longer periods. The Adaptive Hybrid Noise Cancellation (ANC) automatically adjusts the noise cancellation to the user’s environment. HearThrough technology, which neutralizes the wind effect, reduces wind noise but allows sound through to ensure safety. At the same time, the sound level remains constant.
Dolby Atmos listening experience taken to a new level with Elite 10
Jabra’s new headphones – the Elite 10 button headphones – offer the best combination of comfort, sound quality, and clear calls, both for work and leisure. The headphones have been optimized for listening to Dolby Atmos content, are truly immersive, and Jabra’s first button headphones to support Dolby Head Tracking. This allows listeners to stay in the soundscape even when moving their heads. The result is a more natural listening experience for both Dolby Atmos content and other entertainment. The combination of Dolby Head Tracking and Dolby Atmos enriches the audio world even more, offering extremely accurate details and loudness.
Elite 10 eliminates environmental noise by leveraging Jabra Advanced Noise Cancellation technology. This ultra-efficient ANC automatically adjusts the noise level based on the ambient sound environment. This is made possible by infra-sound waves that measure the ear canal, as well as algorithms that detect potential noise leakage and wind conditions. Thus, the earbuds automatically switch to the most effective ANC level in the most noisy environment, while reducing noise in quieter places.
The Elite 10s are the first Jabra wireless earbuds to use Jabra ComfortFit technology, offering the most natural and airy fit and less pressure on the ears.
