Asus has unveiled the new ROG Strix Go 2.4 gaming headphones. What makes them special is that they use artificial intelligence to help with the microphone noise reduction function. Using a deep learning database, the headphones recognize and react to the surrounding noise. The ambient sounds are said to be filtered out 95 percent of the time.
According to Asus, the sounds that can be eliminated with artificial intelligence include, for example, pressing keys on the keyboard and background conversations. The microphone is detachable and hidden. The materials used in the headphones are metal, plastic, and faux leather. The elements are 40 millimeters in size. A carrying pouch is included, with built-in pockets for accessories.
The headphones are wireless and are promised a battery life of 25 hours at best. With a 15-minute quick charge, the battery can be charged for three hours. The wireless audio transmission takes place over a 2.4 gigahertz connection with USB-C and USB-A connectors. The headphones support Hi-Res playback up to 40,000 Hz if connected via the included 3.5 mm cable.
