At CES 2019, Classé Audio presented its new Delta amplifier series. It includes the Delta Pre preamp and Delta Mono and Delta Stereo amplifiers. The latter two were still in prototype stage at the trade show. They should be available for sale in the summer.
In the summer of 2018, the Canadian company Classé Audio acquired the Sound United audio giant, which includes companies such as Denon, Marantz and Polk. Design of the new models takes place in Montreal, but production is in Japan.
The Delta Pre model has connections for mm and mc loudspeakers. The settings for them can be adjusted from the front panel touchscreen or from the app. Additionally, the front amplifier features, among other things, an 9-band parametric equalizer. The price in the United States is $10,000.
Delta Stereos is promised 2 x 250 watts of power, of which 12 watts are in class A. The remaining power is provided in class A/B. The price in the USA is 12,500 dollars. Delta Mono is promised 300 watts of power, of which the first 30 watts are provided in class A. The price in the USA is 10 thousand dollars.
