The Sennheiser HD 490 PRO headphones have been created for today's music production
Sennheiser has unveiled the new open reference-class HD 490 PRO studio headphones, designed specifically for audio production and sound mixing and mastering. The dynamic ear-shaped headphones deliver extremely accurate sound and a very wide and realistic sound image. The superior accuracy and range of sound enable the necessary transparency for producers, mixers, masters and musicians to make critical mixing decisions and resolve any panning-related issues with confidence.
The HD 490 PRO costs 399 euros and includes two different sets of ear cushions (mixing and production), a 1.8-meter headphone cable, and the dearVR MIX-SE license. The HD 490 PRO Plus, which costs 479 euros, also includes a 3-meter cable, a carrying case, and an extra cloth ear cushion. All the Plus accessories are also available separately.
