Samsung's long-awaited Galaxy Fold phone has arrived on sale in Finland. The phone is the first foldable display phone to hit the Finnish market. Pre-orders for the phone, unveiled in February, began on October 11 and sales began on October 18.
The phone can be folded in half to roughly the size of a regular phone, but the 7.3-inch display on the inside provides enough surface area to be wider than usual when unfolded. Its aspect ratio is 4.2:3. Additionally, a smaller 4.6-inch display is available when closed from the lid.
The phone has 12 gigabytes of RAM and 512 gigabytes of storage. The battery has a capacity of 4,380 mAh. You can read more about the phone in our previous news article.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold costs 2,100 euros, so it won’t be found in every pocket. It represents a completely new type of device with familiar features from both the phone and the tablet. It comes in two colors: Space Silver and Cosmos Black. It comes with Galaxy Buds headphones and aramid protective covers. In addition, you can get a 12-month Samsung Care+ service at the point of sale.
