Samsung's 2026 TVs are coming to Finland – Micro RGB, OLED and The Frame are getting a makeover

One of the key innovations in the 2026 lineup is the expansion of the Micro RGB series. The technology differs from traditional television solutions in that it uses individually controllable red, green and blue LEDs as the light source. Each LED is smaller than 100 micrometers in size.

The solution aims to provide more precise brightness control and more nuanced color reproduction. In 2025, Micro RGB was introduced in a 115-inch TV, but in the 2026 lineup, availability will expand to several size categories starting from 55 inches.

The R95H series tops the Micro RGB lineup, using Samsung's most advanced 4K processor and is also said to feature 100 percent BT.2020 color gamut coverage. The R85H sits lower in the lineup and uses the Micro RGB AI Engine technology to control backlighting.

Samsung's OLED range will expand with four series in the 2026 lineup: S99H, S95H, S90H and S85H. The top model in the lineup, the S99H, stands out with its new Float Layer design, which allows the TV to be installed close to the wall so that the whole thing appears to float in front of the wall surface.

The S99H is also Samsung's first OLED TV to offer access to the Samsung Art Store, allowing the TV screen to be used to display artwork when not watching TV.

The OLED models also have gaming in mind. The S95H and S90H models feature Glare Free technology to reduce reflections, and the entire OLED range includes high refresh rates, short response times and other features aimed at gamers.

The Frame TVs continue Samsung's line of integrating televisions into interior design and art. Over 5,000 works of art are available through the Samsung Art Store. There is also a Moomin-themed collection of 60 works.

A key innovation in the 2026 The Frame models is Glare Free display technology, which is designed to reduce reflections and improve contrast, especially in brighter viewing environments. The same technology has previously been seen in Samsung's Neo QLED and OLED flagship models.

The Frame Pro is the most advanced model in the series. It uses a Neo QLED Mini LED display, Wireless One Connect, and Samsung’s NQ4 AI Gen3 processor. The processor improves picture and sound quality in real time. The Frame Pro also supports high refresh rates, and its size range will expand with a 55-inch model in the 2026 lineup.

The Neo QLED lineup includes the QN70H and QN80H series, which combine Mini LED and Real QLED technologies to deliver bright, high-contrast images and a wide color gamut. The QN70H model features an AirSlim design and 100 percent color volume, while the QN80H focuses on a more powerful AI processor and more precise brightness control.

The Mini LED range includes the M70H and M80H series. They are aimed at users looking for Mini LED technology at a more affordable price point. The M70H model includes Motion Xcelerator up to 60 Hz, while the M80H model features 4K AI Upscaling and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. Based on these features, the M80H is particularly suitable for gaming and watching sports.
