Huawei’s autumn international launch event brought together a large number of media representatives and technology followers in Paris. The “Ride the Wind”-themed event introduced several new products, including the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 series, HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2, HUAWEI WATCH D2 and the new FreeBuds 7i headphones. The nova 14 series and the MatePad 12 X tablet were also announced. Alongside the new products, the “Now Is Yours” vision and the international GoPaint 2025 creative competition program were launched.
GT 6: Battery, outdoor activities and more accurate measurement at the center

Described as Huawei’s most important sports and outdoor series in history, the WATCH GT 6 series features a new engineering solution that extends battery life to up to 21 days. The long-lasting battery is complemented by the new TruSense™ system, which supports faster and more accurate health and fitness tracking.
Four sports have been added to the watch's 100+ training modes, with particularly in-depth features. Cycling now features a virtual power meter, trail running features a precise elevation curve and ascent analysis, golf features fairway maps and shot data, and skiing features versatile slope and off-piste analytics. With these updates, the GT 6 is seriously challenging its competitors in the outdoor and enthusiast watch market.
Ultimate 2: A diving watch with new technology

The key innovation of the WATCH Ultimate 2 is underwater communication. It is the first commercial smartwatch to enable watch-to-watch communication based on sound waves at a distance of up to 30 meters and an SOS function up to 60 meters.
Designed to withstand dives up to 150 meters, the watch is exceptionally robust for divers. It also features an integrated eSIM connection, a slot antenna, and a dual-frequency positioning system to ensure connectivity in challenging conditions.
WATCH D2: Blood pressure monitoring taken to a new level

The third new watch was the WATCH D2, which continues Huawei's focus on health monitoring. The device's new feature was a more versatile blood pressure measurement, which includes both single measurements and recurring reminders. The device is available in a new blue color, and its price is said to be set at 449 euros.
FreeBuds 7i: Sound without interference

The new FreeBuds 7i headphones combine Intelligent Dynamic ANC 4.0 noise cancellation, Hi-Res Audio certification, and surround sound. Huawei promises that the headphones adapt to their environment in real time and provide clearer sound for calls with AI-assisted noise cancellation. Head motion controls and improved element technology bring added value to the user both in everyday life and at work.
Nova 14 and MatePad 12 X – creativity and photography without a Finnish launch

The event also introduced the nova 14 phone series with Ultra Chroma camera and the MatePad 12 X tablet with M-Pencil Pro. These were particularly focused on portrait photography and digital creativity. According to Huawei, the products offer top-level shooting and editing capabilities, but there are currently no plans to launch them in the Finnish market.

Philosophy and Competition: Now Is Yours and GoPaint 2025
In addition to the new products, Huawei unveiled a new brand vision, “Now Is Yours,” which aims to increase dialogue with young consumers and highlight the humanity of technology. At the same time, it launched the GoPaint 2025 competition, which encourages young people to express themselves creatively in various art forms – including traditional painting techniques, digital art, and animation.
