How is it going with rock’n’roll for Lass? The isolated drum track tells the story of the current state of the Metallica fan
A couple of weeks ago, Metallical unexpectedly released a new single “Lux Æterna”, which offered surprisingly straight-forward swagger. One could hear hints of the band’s debut album Kill ‘Em All, where the fusion of the British hard rock and punk of the new wave was not yet fully matured into its most nuanced form.
Few deny the significance of the classic records of the thrash pioneer, but drummer Lars Ulrich's antics spark opinions on online forums – usually critical ones. Now a friendly online citizen has uploaded the isolated drum track from the latest single to YouTube as well.
The story doesn't say whether Lars's attacks were transferred afterwards. But why wouldn't they have been? Almost everyone else nowadays does the same. The best picture of Ulrich and the rest of the band's lineup comes from Metallica's recent live performances on the band's YouTube channel.
